Configuration Notes
Do two printheads mean a 108 mm print width?
No. The standard D550 configuration uses two Ricoh G5 printheads with a total machine print width of 54 mm. The two printheads must not be added together and advertised as a 108 mm print width. Check the actual artwork dimensions against the total print width when selecting a configuration.
Does the standard CMYK configuration include white ink?
The standard D550 configuration uses CMYK UV ink; this does not establish that white ink is included. For transparent or dark substrates, provide actual samples to evaluate how the substrate color affects the intended artwork. Other ink colors or ink paths are non-standard configurations and must be confirmed for the specific project.
